About CIL- Kathmandu

CIL- Kathmandu (Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities, Kathmandu), an organization in special consultative status with UN ECOSOC, is a non-profit, non-political, self-help organization run by and for persons with disabilities. It is the first disabled persons’ organization established to promote and protect the rights of people with disabilities through the concept of ‘Independent Living’ in Nepal.

The four key areas we work in are:

CIL- Kathmandu Office

CIL-Kathmandu is headquartered in Kathmandu-31, Thulo Khariko Bot, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Moreover, it is actively working to promote the concept of Independent Living throughout Nepal with district CIL Network organizations. Please see our location on google map.
